Susan Follis

A Canadian, based in Singapore, Susan Follis leads Kyndryl’s presence in the fast-expanding trade bloc of ASEAN covering Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. Follis and her ASEAN leaders support the IT needs and vision of some of South East Asia’s largest enterprises including banks, airlines and retailers.

In addition to her role as a market M.D., Follis leads Kyndryl’s go-to-market growth unit for APAC & MEA, overseeing the company’s sales strategy in dynamic Asian and African strategic markets.

An empathetic leader, Follis is known for creating collaborative, committed teams who are transparent and dedicated to customer success. No matter how challenging the technical requirements or political environment, she and her team can be trusted to work restlessly, and with devotion to get the results needed by ASEAN’s leading businesses.

Prior to joining Kyndryl, Follis enjoyed a long career with IBM over two stints, in three countries Canada, the UAE and Singapore. Most recently she was General Manager for IBM Global Technology Services in ASEAN, and before that served as Accenture Canada’s Managing Director for Infrastructure Services and Business Process Outsourcing Services.

One of IBM’s first female sellers and sales leaders in Canada, Follis is committed to being a champion for the company’s efforts across both Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) as well as Sustainability in ASEAN. She believes that everyone has a voice and it is important for all leaders to cultivate an environment where diversity and minority voices are heard and valued.

In 2022, Follis has been recognised as one of the 22 thought leaders by Imergey Luminaries APAC Awards, as well as one of the 200 “IT Wondrous Women” by Global Touch, Inc.
