Darren Guccione is the CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security, the leading provider of cloud-based zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software protecting passwords, passkeys, secrets, connections and privileged access. Fourteen years ago, Guccione co-founded Keeper alongside CTO Craig Lurey, conceiving the early plans for the world’s top-rated password manager and secure digital vault on an overseas flight. With decades of experience in technology and cybersecurity, Guccione has continued to prove himself a distinguished leader and visionary in the industry.
Leveraging his extensive experience in product design, engineering, and development, Guccione leads product vision, global strategy, customer experience, marketing and business development at Keeper. Under his leadership, Keeper has solidified its place as a market innovator, significantly advanced its enterprise and consumer product offerings, and grown rapidly on a global scale.
Under Guccione’s guidance, Keeper has produced numerous surveys of IT and security professionals across the globe, gleaning their insights on what’s needed to achieve cybersecurity in today’s threat landscape. Keeper recently surveyed over 800 IT security leaders to gain their insights about cybersecurity trends for 2024 and the future of defense. The report found that 40% of companies have experienced a cyber-attack that originated from an employee, underscoring the need for PAM solutions. Keeper continues building and enhancing its robust PAM solution, KeeperPAM, with that in mind. Beyond Keeper, Guccione has co-founded other successful ventures and advised industry-leading companies. He holds a master’s degree from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
