UiPath has unveiled a suite of agentic AI solutions aimed at helping retailers and manufacturers automate complex merchandising, pricing and inventory workflows that currently span fragmented systems.
The vendor said the new offerings combine software agents with business orchestration to compile data from merchandising platforms, ERP systems and supply‑chain tools. The company positions the capabilities as intended to speed decision making, improve inventory efficiency and make pricing and promotional activity more responsive to demand signals.
UiPath described a retail‑focused solution that uses historical and real‑time sales data to optimise assortments, measure price elasticity and plan promotions. The capability includes a campaign agent that automates the launch and management of promotions across digital and physical channels, and a markdown planner that draws on forecasting to recommend timing and price adjustments.
For manufacturers, UiPath outlined a commercial pricing solution that applies agentic AI to quote‑to‑order processes, aiming to predict market shifts, set pricing strategies and execute them with reduced manual intervention.
The firm also introduced an inventory management solution designed to provide end‑to‑end visibility across warehouses, distribution centres, raw materials and retail sites. That offering uses machine learning and optimisation models to forecast stockouts, automate replenishment workflows and recommend rebalancing actions.
UiPath said these solutions are intended to reduce manual analysis and the time taken to reconcile data across systems, which it said often impedes responsiveness in omnichannel retail and global manufacturing operations.
“Retailers are under constant pressure to operate more efficiently while delivering exceptional customer experiences,” said Catherine Frame, director of retail solutions at UiPath. “AI adoption is accelerating across the industry, yet many organisations struggle to move from experimentation into full production that delivers measurable business outcomes."
"Our UiPath Solutions are purpose‑built for the most common use cases for retailers, taking advantage of the combination of agents and agentic business orchestration to unlock agentic AI‑driven decision making that gets them ahead of inventory, pricing, and supply chain challenges." Catherine Frame
She suggests that retailers can rapidly deploy automation across their most important operational processes—from merchandising and pricing to supply chain operations—while maintaining the governance and trust required to scale AI responsibly.
