Sansiri Public Company Limited, a leading real estate developer in Thailand, is redefining the home buying experience through its innovative use of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This marks Thailand's first large-scale implementation of Gen AI in the real estate sector, resulting in a remarkable 30% acceleration in customer response times and a 25% increase in customer satisfaction scores.

“With AWS, we’re reimagining what it means to buy and own a home in Thailand,” stated Kavin Manomaiudom, assistant executive vice president of the information technology department at Sansiri PLC.

“Generative AI enables us to serve our customers with greater speed, clarity, and personalisation, while empowering our employees with powerful tools to shape the future of Thai communities. This is just the beginning of how we’ll use the cloud to enhance living experiences.” Kavin Manomaiudom

Sansiri’s innovative approach comes in response to the continued growth of the real estate sector, which plays a crucial role in Thailand's economy. By deploying AWS solutions, Sansiri efficiently serves over 3,000 employees and customers across 500 real estate projects.

Central to this transformation is Sansiri's ChatX Assistant, powered by Amazon Bedrock using Anthropic’s Claude models. Acting as a digital concierge, ChatX Assistant provides instant access to information regarding financing, zoning regulations, construction updates, and project timelines. This capability allows customers to make informed decisions swiftly and significantly alleviates the workload for Sansiri's sales and service teams.

In addition to enhancing customer-facing operations, Sansiri has streamlined internal processes. Its optical character recognition (OCR) technology, built on Amazon Bedrock, now processes over 50,000 invoices monthly with an accuracy exceeding 90%.

This advancement has halved document processing times and allowed employees to focus on customer care and innovation. The company is also exploring the implementation of Agentic AI to enhance its OCR system, facilitating automated workflows that align with enterprise processes.

"Southeast Asia’s real estate industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation, and AI is at the centre of that change," noted Vatsun Thirapatarapong, Country Manager for AWS Thailand.

"Sansiri’s success illustrates how developers can leverage AWS services to streamline operations, build customer trust, and set new benchmarks for the home buying and ownership experience." Vatsun Thirapatarapong

As Sansiri continues to innovate, the integration of Gen AI is poised to further enrich the home-buying journey for families across Thailand.
