Massive Internet of Things (IoT) services provider, UnaBiz has launched a suite of innovative solutions aimed at enhancing facilities management and promoting sustainability in the smart building sector.
The new offerings are designed to automate monitoring, optimize operations, and help building owners achieve sustainability goals by minimising waste and enhancing efficiency while cutting operational costs.
The lineup includes three key solutions: the 3-in-1 fan coil unit (FCU) monitoring system, advanced energy monitoring, and occupancy & people counting solutions, developed in partnership with Milesight.
1. 3-in-1 fan coil unit (FCU) monitoring - UBZ310
The UBZ310 is an IoT solution that provides real-time data on fan coil air filters, transforming maintenance practices. It allows building owners to make informed decisions about filter replacements, thereby reducing downtime and costs. The system features a high-brightness LED, a lux sensor for air filter cleanliness, dual temperature probes for cooling performance, and a leak sensor for overflow monitoring. Early adopters have reported savings of 20% to 50% in maintenance costs.
2. Energy monitoring - CT series
The CT Series from Milesight offers a non-invasive, wireless energy monitoring solution that is both cost-efficient and easy to install. Self-powered by the measured circuit, it eliminates the need for batteries and extensive cabling, streamlining the sustainability reporting process for building owners.
3. Occupancy & people counting - VS series
Utilizing advanced AI algorithms, the VS Series provides precise data on occupancy and space utilization, enabling effective resource management.
Calvin Foo, director of ecosystem at UnaBiz Singapore, highlighted that these wireless, battery-operated IoT devices are designed to meet the growing demand for smarter and more sustainable buildings, aligning with Singapore's vision for a greener urban environment.
