Nozomi Networks and Advens have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing cybersecurity services for operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) environments across Europe. This collaboration responds to the increasing demand for managed security services tailored to the unique needs of critical infrastructure.
Advens will integrate Nozomi Networks' advanced solutions, which are certified by ANSSI, into its managed security services, providing customers with enhanced OT and IoT visibility, network monitoring, threat detection, and risk management capabilities. The partnership has already proven beneficial, notably for significant events such as the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Stephane Potier, head of OT & IoT Cyber Security at Advens, remarked, “With Nozomi Networks, our public service, healthcare and industry 4.0 customers... benefit from access to the industry’s most trusted OT and IoT monitoring and threat detection.” He highlighted the importance of their successful collaboration, stating, “We’re pleased to formalize a very successful relationship that started several years ago.”
The collaboration was particularly critical in the lead-up to the Paris Olympics, where the Advens-Nozomi team designed and managed a comprehensive cybersecurity programme. Potier noted, “Without a doubt, the Nozomi platform played a critical role in helping protect the Paris Olympics from at least 3 serious cyberattacks.” This proactive approach ensured the safety of essential services, including water systems and event venues.
As critical infrastructure sectors increasingly rely on digital technologies, they face heightened cyber threats. Advens is dedicated to investing in secure offerings and partnerships that ensure the safety and reliability of its services. Potier concluded, “The extremely high level of cybersecurity we were able to execute flawlessly for the Olympics is just one example of the high-quality defence we can provide.”
This partnership not only reinforces the security of critical infrastructure but also highlights the growing importance of integrated cybersecurity solutions in today’s digitally dependent landscape.
