Expereo announced a significant partnership with Kingspan Light, Air + Water aimed at addressing the complexities of network management. This collaboration is particularly relevant as Kingspan, a global leader in solutions for
For Kingspan, a smoke control, natural daylighting, and sustainable water management solutions provider operating across 22 countries, the company's fragmented network presented numerous compliance and operational hurdles.
The previous network setup comprised multiple contracts and vendors, resulting in a lack of visibility and a convoluted management process. Issues such as missed renewals and unreported local changes were commonplace, complicating the troubleshooting of application issues versus infrastructure failures. To rectify these problems, Kingspan turned to Expereo for an integrated global connectivity solution.
Expereo was selected for its capability to implement a single, standardised network solution under one contractual framework. The collaboration centres around Expereo's NaaS platform, expereoOne, which offers Kingspan a consolidated view of its entire network.
This platform allows for comprehensive monitoring of network performance, management of service tickets, and simplified ordering and invoicing processes.
The deployment of dedicated internet access and Low Earth Orbit satellite services is poised to bolster Kingspan’s operational continuity, a crucial aspect for its production sites which account for a significant portion of its global operations.
Ben Elms, CEO of Expereo, highlighted the partnership's potential, stating that the move simplifies network complexities while enhancing resilience, thereby contributing to Kingspan's scalability and innovation.
Commenting on the impact of the expereoOne platform, Fergal Moore, divisional head of infrastructure & cyber security at Kingspan, emphasised the newfound ability to manage all services and contracts through a single portal, which enhances transparency and supports rapid decision-making.
