At HUAWEI CONNECT 2024, Huawei unveiled its innovative Xinghe Intelligent Campus Solution, aimed at enhancing enterprise productivity in response to growing demands. The launch attracted over 200 industry leaders, who gathered to discuss the latest trends in campus networking and technology.

Shawn Zhao, president of the Campus Network Domain, Huawei's Data Communication Product Line

Shawn Zhao, president of Huawei’s Campus Network Domain, stated, “As video conferencing, AI terminals, and AI applications become more widespread, campus network access density has increased threefold, and the demand for bandwidth has grown tenfold.” This dramatic shift necessitated the comprehensive upgrades included in the Xinghe Intelligent Campus Solution.

The solution features notable advancements in wireless performance, including improved speed, seamless roaming, and enhanced Internet of Things (IoT) integration. The X-Scheduler, a new experience scheduling engine, optimizes application performance, while AI-assisted decision-making tools elevate operations and maintenance (O&M) efficiency. Zhao emphasized, “These innovations help customers build industry-leading digital infrastructures and facilitate their transformation into intelligent enterprises.”

Key highlights include:

  • Xinghe Intelligent Campus focuses on AI-enabled, experience-centric campus network construction, ensuring zero freezing for audio and video applications, zero service degradation, and zero waiting for interactions.
  • Xinghe Intelligent WAN introduces a wide range of intelligent technologies to intelligently schedule millions of flows and precisely optimize service experience.
  • Xinghe Intelligent Fabric adopts the AI Turbo engine to improve network throughput, enhancing foundation model training efficiency.
  • Xinghe Intelligent Network Security integrates AI technologies into network security detection, accurately and rapidly identifying threats.

Security is a cornerstone of the solution, with Huawei implementing Wi-Fi Shield technology to prevent unauthorized packet access and full-link MACsec capabilities for secure data transmission throughout the network. This robust security framework ensures safe operations in a digital landscape.

During the event, Sian Morgan, research director at Dell'Oro Group, remarked, “The evolution of campus networks is critical as enterprises navigate their digital transformation journeys.” This sentiment was echoed by various industry analysts and partners who shared insights on best practices for digital transformation.

With its cutting-edge features and strong security measures, the Xinghe Intelligent Campus Solution is a premier choice for enterprises looking to modernize their operations.
