With over 8,000 employees, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Bank Danamon) recognised the need for a scalable talent management approach. The bank recently integrated SAP Business AI solutions – including SAP’s generative AI copilot Joule – into its HR processes, helping to enhance the efficiency of its employee-related tasks, from planning to decision-making.
With the integration of SAP’s Business AI within SAP SuccessFactors, Bank Danamon expects to further enhance its employee engagement using AI-generated insights and personalised candidate matching in recruitment, all accessed via a single HR platform. This centralisation of data helps mitigate data security risks, leveraging SAP's security and database management systems.
Bank Danamon’s implementation of a conversational, self-service user interface on SAP SuccessFactors and its SAP SuccessFactors WorkZone in November 2022 has been instrumental in the bank’s decision to invest further into SAP technology.
Notable results include improvement in paperless operations, reduced HR support tickets, increased empowerment to manager, and simplification in HR processes.
“Bank Danamon prioritises quality service management, relying on our talent as an asset. The implementation of SAP Business AI supports our role as a strategic business partner, freeing our employees to perform more productive tasks beyond administrative tasks. Business AI also helps to provide recommendations to improve talent management, impacting the company's long-term goals," said Handri Yustanto, business process and digitalisation head for Corporate Human Resources at Bank Danamon.
According to Andreas Diantoro, managing director got SAP Indonesia commented that the integration of SAP Business AI into Bank Danamon’s HR processes has helped the bank achieve accelerated innovation, enhanced user experiences, streamlined operations, and empowered employees.
“This technology aims to transform how the banking services sector manages its human resources, promoting top performance and superior service quality,” he added.
