With the electronics sector racing to advance solutions for 5G/6G and data centre applications, this new portfolio harnesses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and Python integrations to significantly shorten the design time for intricate RF and chiplet products—from days to mere hours.

Keysight Technologies's 2025 Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software addresses critical challenges throughout the development lifecycle by enhancing data manipulation and integration across top-tier simulators, facilitating seamless workflows for engineers.

By leveraging AI-enhanced processes and high-performance computing, the software accelerates the transition from simulation to verification and compliance, instilling greater confidence in design outcomes. It features advanced digital twin capabilities for simulating fast digital interconnects, ensuring high accuracy for complex electronic designs.

Key highlights of the EDA 2025 portfolio include:

  • RF Circuit Design: Streamlining RF design cycles through open, automatable workflows and Python integration, enabling swift consolidation of load pull data for AI/ML model training.
  • High-speed Digital Design: Creating precise digital twins for SerDes designs, including UCIe chiplets, with the latest Advanced Design System (ADS) release.
  • Device Modelling: Cutting model re-centering time by tenfold with AI/ML capabilities, while Python tools automate the modelling process.
Nilesh Kamdar

Nilesh Kamdar, EDA Design & Verification general manager at Keysight, emphasised, “AI is transforming how engineers approach complex design challenges... Automating traditionally time-intensive tasks enables engineers to focus on innovation.”

For his part, Stephen Slater, director of Product Management, added, “This release unlocks new possibilities for co-optimising large parts of RF design, dramatically accelerating development.”

With these advancements, Keysight is set to lead the charge in design innovation, paving the way for a more efficient and productive engineering landscape.
