Santan, the inflight catering arm of Capital A, has partnered with Soft Space to launch a significant upgrade to its inflight retail solution, Fasspos. This initiative aims to enhance transaction efficiency and empower AirAsia cabin crew to provide a seamless inflight service experience.
The latest enhancement to the Fasspos system includes the integration of Zebra Technologies’ ET45 tablets, which boast larger displays and robust Near-Field Communication (NFC) capabilities. These upgrades reportedly reduce transaction times by over 50%, allowing cabin crew to devote more attention to customer service and ensure timely delivery of Santan's renowned meals and beverages.
With the goal of making infight experience truly seamless, Santan CEO Catherine Goh acknowledged the pivoltal role technology players in this endeavour adding: "By integrating innovative solutions like Fasspos, we elevate the overall guest journey while empowering our cabin crew to work more efficiently.”
