According to Deloitte, elevated interest rates and high inflation, the shift in how—and where—tenants occupy commercial space, the impact of climate change on buildings, and the emergence of technologies like generative AI will force organisations to take more defensive postures—fortifying their balance sheets, shoring up core capabilities, and focusing inward—rather than being on the offensive-in 2025.

JLL Falcon is an artificial intelligence (AI) platform set to transform the commercial real estate (CRE) sector. The platform integrates JLL’s extensive proprietary data with advanced generative AI models to provide actionable insights that enhance revenue and reduce costs for clients and employees alike.

Mihir Shah

JLL Falcon represents a significant advancement in JLL's digital transformation efforts, setting the stage for future AI initiatives. Mihir Shah, CEO of JLL Technologies, stated, “JLL Falcon will serve as the foundation for the continued innovation of products and services that help shape the CRE industry.” The platform utilizes a multi-modal AI architecture, featuring sophisticated data pipelines, security measures, and advanced analytics capabilities, enabling a diverse range of applications, including custom digital assistants.

The new platform is also expected to bolster JLL GPT, the first generative AI assistant tailored for the CRE industry. Launched in August 2023, JLL GPT™ has quickly gained traction among JLL's workforce, with over 47,000 professionals utilizing it to generate tailored insights. Recent upgrades to JLL GPT™ have enhanced its capabilities, including image understanding and a significantly expanded memory capacity.

Yao Morin

Yao Morin, JLL’s chief technology officer, highlighted the platform's potential, saying, “JLL Falcon will build on what we’ve already achieved and unlock even more custom, AI-enabled solutions that help shape the future of real estate for a better world.” As generative AI continues to evolve, JLL is positioned to lead the CRE industry into a new era, with additional solutions set to launch soon.

In a landscape increasingly influenced by AI, JLL's commitment to harnessing technology reflects its dedication to enhancing the expertise of those who operate within the real estate space, ensuring better outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
