Tech education and staffing solutions provider, General Assembly (GA), has reimagined its bootcamps in software engineering, data analytics, and user experience (UX) design.
The new "AI-native" courses are designed to prepare mid-career professionals for an AI-first job market, embedding AI into the core of technical education rather than treating it as an ancillary topic.
These immersive bootcamps aim to empower learners by adopting an AI-native mindset, encouraging them to view AI not merely as a tool, but as an integral part of problem-solving and innovation.
Participants will gain essential technology skills—such as application development, data analysis, and UX design—while learning to harness AI's capabilities to enhance their workflows.
The initiative aligns with Singapore's National AI Strategy and responds to the rising demand for AI competencies across various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and marketing. As businesses increasingly integrate AI into their operations, the workforce must adapt to ensure productivity and foster innovation.

"The demand for AI skills across industries is surging, and it's essential for individuals to become AI-native," stated Sima Saadat, Singapore country manager for General Assembly. "Our refreshed bootcamps embed AI into the core tech fundamentals, empowering learners with the skills and confidence to thrive in an evolving job market."
The AI-native curriculum, set to launch in the first quarter of 2026, provides a structured yet flexible learning experience. Students will complete the intensive bootcamps within 12 weeks (full-time) or 24 weeks (part-time), guided by experienced instructors actively working in the tech industry.
This approach ensures participants develop the latest market-ready skills, positioning them effectively for future job opportunities.
GA's partnership with LHH, the professional talent solutions arm of The Adecco Group, further enhances the programme by providing networking opportunities with potential employers. Graduates will also receive support in personal branding and interview preparation from certified career coaches.
To promote accessibility, GA offers subsidised fees for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents through various government support schemes, including the Infocomm Media Development Authority’s Tech Immersion and Placement Programme and the SkillsFuture initiative. Applications for the Q1 2026 cohort are now open, with a significant discount of SG$2,500 available for eligible learners.
As the landscape of work evolves, General Assembly's commitment to developing AI-native talent will be crucial in ensuring that Singapore's workforce is ready to harness the full potential of AI technologies.
